Have a Wireless Home with Recessed Lighting
Some people are obsessed with eliminating clutter in their home. Others
just love the minimal style that is all the fashion these days. Recessed
lighting is perfect for these kinds of people. Also, for people who just
don’t like the look of wires, cords, plugs and all the appendages that come
with electrical items. If you believe the hype, the world as a whole loves
the term ‘wireless’. Recessed lighting fits this trend.
Have a bluetooth station which eliminates the wires of your TV, DVD, Hi-Fi
(are they still called that!?!), and computer and you have a ‘wireless’ house,
except for every item in your kitchen. The technology people are getting there though.
All this comes at a price; a hefty price. What price would you put on a clutter-free,
seamless looking house? Is it high as the shops say? Invariably, the prices will come
down as the technology is adapted more and more. It can be done though.
However, you do not have to break the bank to have ‘wireless’ lighting. Recessed
lighting has been a standard feature around the house for over 40 years. Almost
as far back as when ‘wireless’ meant radio. With recessed lighting, the fittings,
wires and cables are all out of sight. All you get is light. It works perfectly
for under cabinet and cabinet lighting. It is found in commercial premises too,
to light areas without being too intrusive. Recessed lighting normally sits behind
objects so a stunning back-lighting effect is easily achieved.
Recessed lighting is perfect if you want to add light but don’t have room for a
floor lamp or a standing light. Just hide it and turn on. Save your space for other things.
