This is taking into consideration the fact that they use very little electricity, do not give off much heat and hence more efficient and also it consumes only one fourth of what a normal bulb consumes, thus the power consumption drops drastically. The multitude of purposes it can serve is mind boggling. It is very versatile and equally effective as a high definition reading light or a flood light or even a decorative light.
